Choose and place in an appropriate way the lamps in the rooms of the house is essential for visual comfort and for proper use of the functions that take place there: cooking, reading, conversation, dining, etc.. Yet, very often, the appearance of the light is considered with little attention. Direct or diffused?

There are certain criteria to define how many lamps are used, where to put them, how many sockets and switches must be provided. It starts from the consideration that the scattered light is essential, as the lighting has to be sufficiently dosed and pleasant environments. It should be avoided glare, both direct and indirect, as well as the one reflected, which is created on large surfaces shiny (walls, tables, desks).La scelta del divano letto

To overcome these drawbacks of general lighting systems are used in various environments (floor lamps, spotlights) equipped with shields that allow to filter the light so soft and indirect.

For the direct light is advisable to place the unit out of sight and mount it facing the wall or the ceiling. The same attention to the lamp on the dining table, or for that over the desk that goes to a height less than that of the eyes.Trasformare oggetti inutili in denaro

The best light to relax and rest is widespread and light, such as a lamp or a table lamp with a "hat" of fabric or other semi-transparent material.

Room you go, you find light

It serves a specific and direct light in areas where: cooking, eating, sewing, reading, putting on makeup or shave. Can be obtained with a lamp close to the screen area to be illuminated, such as under the kitchen cabinets, or with floor lamps that shed light on the area of work or reading.

Is optimal for reading a lamp with swivel base on the ground, behind the chair, so that the light beam illuminates the pages of the book without creating shadows.

For concentrated lighting wall: position, preferably on the ceiling, a recessed or track (spot) with a beam of light that highlights objects or pictures. Be careful, though, not to turn the house into a store ...

For the TV: do not leave the room in the dark. The sharp contrast between the screen brightness and darkness of the environment is harmful to eyes. It takes a small lamp on soft light on the unit or on the table on which it is resting.

Ideal for work or study is a lamp to put with swivel and adjustable pedestal or clamp on the table, making sure that the height of the light beam is less than that of the eyes.

To eat serving a ceiling lamp, preferably with ups and downs, or a floor lamp that arrivals from the ground vertically above the table ensuring proper lighting that does not strike the eye of the diners.

For the bedroom: a good general light diffused and soft, excluding the solution with central chandelier, outdated, and preferring the reflection of light with a floor lamp or wall oriented toward the ceiling or wall.

To read a lamp for each table, with separate switches, each lamp should be positioned so as to properly illuminate the book and only allow those who do not read the rest. It is preferable that these lamps are with intensity regulator, to vary the light according to the needs.

I am just trying to fix two halogen lamps, just want to save money...
one is in my study room, everything was fine, but the light bulb went out so I replaced with a new one. but then I don't know why, when I turn it on for 20 minutes, it will go off by itself. Is it overheated???
The other one is in my living room, I tooked out the light bulb and I found that one end of the light bulb was black like it was burned... and I found that the connectors that touching the light bulb was very black too, so is it possible to find the connectors and replace it? or should I just throw

Is it worth rewiring this lamp?

I bought a floor lamp awhile back that used a circular fluorescent bulb. The lamp had 3 light settings low, med, high. Recently the bulb went out (static charge blew it). No one has the replacement bulb, not HD, not the local hardware store, or a lighting store. I walked in with the bulb and before I even made it to the counter she said they don't carry it, only HD did. But of course they don't anymore. She said that's what they do to people.
So my question is, since I like the look of the lamp, and it matches a table lamp I have...
Do I try to rewire it?
I've built lamps from scratch before a couple of times, so the wiring isn't an issue
